August is almost here

Time flies by so fast. I feel like I just woke up from my sleep after three months. One moment I feel happy that I am back in May and then suddenly August arrives. Before I know it, my time in Malaysia/vacation is over and I will be back at Oxford doing my senior year. This holiday has been really enjoyable because I spent one month obsessing about the World Cup and late nights. Wish, I did something productive, maybe an internship to broaden my work experience. But, I brought this onto myself. Now, I am just waiting be back in Oxford, studying/enjoying my senior year!! They say that senior year is the most busiest year of student's life. Hopefully, I can get everything settled and enjoy my last year at Miami University....

Long awaited moment

The World Cup season is almost over...actually it ends this weekend. The mouth-watering final between Spain and Holland. Actually, Spain seems like the favorites to win the cup because they have good teamwork and precision passing. Plus, they have six players from Barcelona gelling together to form the crust of the team. Probably the most impressive team so far. Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol, Pique, soon-to-be Villa. On the other hand, Holland has been impressive so far. Beating Brazil. Outstanding players that should be mention, Sneijder, Kuyt, Robben, and Van Persie. I am rooting for Holland this time, but I am slowly leaning towards Spain. Paul the Octopus who have guessed every match right so far have made his decision, SPAIN. I wonder how it got its psychic powers. Damn, I wished I was that good too..I probably be winning a lot of money. But, I have stopped betting already. Enough is enough...

Singapore

It's been forever since I last remembered going to Malaysia neighbor, Singapore. The last time I went I was only 10 years old. Those days were long forgotten. Since Dongyeun is down visiting in Malaysia, my sister and I decided that this is the perfect opportunity to venture down to SIngapore. We took the Aeroline bus down and reached Singapore 6 hours later. Singapore has a very good transportation system, SMRT, clean and full of busy people. After we reached Singapore, we went to the famous Orchard Road. We walked around the street and walked further down. Before we even know it, we reached the other half of SIngapore. I guess Singapore is really small huh!! We got free accommodation because my cousin, Adrian works/live in Singapore. For the first time, I got to sit on a RX-7 Mazda car. Super cool. We also got the chance to meet his future fiancee. Ah, so cute!! The next day, we went to Sentosa Island. The weather was super hot but at least it did not rain, because that would ruined everything. Che wanted to see dolphins so we stopped at Underworld. Amazingly, che got the opportunity to touched the dolphins for free!!!
We only spent two days in Singapore but the trip was fantastic experience for me. When it was time for us to take the bus home, there was a heavy downpour. Guess, Singapore's God was crying because we were leaving this beautiful city.....
