While I was walking to get food uptown on Thursday, I saw a lot of people dressing up in costumes. Some of them dressed up as Lady Gaga, The Situation guy, robonic man and etc. And it struck my mind that this week is Halloween Weekend. I think I will try to be something different this year, last year I was Mario, this year, who knows? I want to be something cool and at the same time unique. Also, I am trying to be involved on campus and what better way to do it as volunteering to Trick-or-Can organized by Buck Rodgers. Instead of collecting candies and goodies for Halloween, we go to each houses and collect perishable items like food cans. All proceeds go to the Oxford Community Center. Last year, we collected almost 2000 cans and I was part of this event. I am really looking forward to this year Trick-Or-Can event. It is gonna be fun.....
*scarry music playing in the background*....
I think it is time to stop blogging, it is almost time for Tininkling practice at Withrow. sigh!!!

Tornado Watch
Every Wednesday, there is a tornado alarm test in Miami University. I always wonder why would they conduct the tornado alarm when we do not have any tornado alert. Today, I finally understand why. As I was waiting for the bus to go home, I actually missed it because the bus driver was stupid enough to just drive past. Since I already missed my bus, I decided to go to Brill Science library to catch up on some homework and assignments. While I was doing my Business memo, my university was on tornado alert and we all were required to go down to the basement. The weather was already so bad that I knew this was already happenning.

Spring 2011 class
Time flies by really fast don't you think? Today I registered for my Spring 2011 classes. One week before registering, I would look at ratemyprofessors.com to search for good professors to take. And then when the time comes, you wait anxiously for your slot to open and then you quickly choose the class that you want to take and hope that it does not be full. Rule number one for registering, always have a backup plan. I think I have the best schedule ever so far, especially Spring 2011. The classes that I am taking are:
MW 1245-2pm Cyberlaw
MW 215-330 Management
TH 930-1045 Accounting
TH 1115-1230 MIS
TH 530-8pm Accounting Electives
And there you have it, my final semester of classes. If you are paying attention, I have scheduled my classes in a way that I have Friday off. How cool is that? Which means that I have a semester of Spring break, 3 day weekend....yes!!! On a side note, I think that next semester class will be a lot of work. Hopefully it is not.....*fingers crossed*
I think I will continue to sleep.....ZZZZZZ

Hey there Delilah
I hear the radio a lot, in the car, at work, on my ipod, and also on my laptop. Different people have different radio station that they love. In Malaysia, I always turned to Hitz.fm, a radio for new music which my parents dislike. After hearing the radio for five minutes, my dad will always grumble at me and then he will change to Light and Easy station. He says that this radio station should be THE radio station. Well, they actually play good music from the oldies. Sometimes, my parents, sis and me compromise on the radio station, we usually turned to 94.5 that plays a collection of new and old music. After being in the US for a while, I stumbled across a radio station called 98.5 aka Delilah radio station. Delilah radio station plays good music especially at night. It is not some blend radio station that plays the same song over and over again. Delilah (she) plays songs for the caller and the song usually resemble the caller itself. I have to admit, the songs that she choose are always good. Also, listeners can call in and talk to Delilah about their problems. Sometimes, the caller share sad stories and consult her for serious advice. When I hear sad stories on this radio station, I feel really sad for the the caller. I am fortunate that God has blesssed me and I realized how fortunate I am. Other times, the stories that they tell are quite obvious. The stories are quite common, love, relationship, friends, parents. But different people have different stories in their life. Go figure!
If I got the chance to call Delilah, I wonder what my story would be? Wait, I don't think I want that much drama in my life. So I think I will pass on that. Anyways, I just love this radio station, and I thought I would share it with you. Hint, you can search it on Google (delilah radio station). That what I do and so can you....she comes on at US 8-12. Listen to her and be inspired!!

Fall Break 2010

It's time for break especially when you have gone through school for 2 months non-stop. This is a good time for a break. Well, this break is so short that it is only Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Do you call this a break? Some college kids schedule their classes so that they avoid having Friday classes. How cool is that? I want to have that kind too. 3 day weekend sounds good to me.Hopefully it will work next semester for me. *fingers crossed*
Campus is quite quiet because a lot of college kids go home during this break. Unfortunately, home for me is too far away and so going home is not an option for me. So, here I am at home, blogging and reminding myself the greatness of HOME. I think it is true the saying,"Absence makes the heart go fonder". Actually, I really do miss home a lot...I miss my dad's cooking, I miss playing with eeling (or maybe iritating her), I miss talking to my mum, I miss driving around PJ, I miss meeting my favorite cousins and Aunty Susan, I miss Taiping & Seremban, I miss Malaysian food, I miss my Bandar Utama bed, I miss my BB friends, I miss Aunty Diana...
Frankly, I just miss being in Malaysia right now....Maybe just for this 3 day weekend. I have compiled a collage of pictures that I miss in Malaysia.

Cooking and Cleaning
There always a policy in my family about cooking and cleaning. My dad cooks most of the time and he spends like 2-3 hours cooking for us and his dishes would be excellent. I really miss eating his steam fish or his curry fish head. Since my dad cooks, he expects either my sister or me to clean up the dishes afterwards. It is just the way it is in my family. We know our roles pretty well. I think my dad cooks a lot just to relax himself from a day's work. Maybe that is where he finds his comfort. In the kitchen. Me and my sister would usually wash the dishes after he cooks. Yes, sometimes we argue on washing the dishes but we normally do it either way.
I think I inherit this gene from my dad where I would volunteer to cook for my group of friends. I really do not mind cooking for anybody that is close to me if I have the extra time. I have to admit, I like people to try my cooking especially if I am making Malaysian cuisine. Whenever I cook, I try to stay on the safe side and stick with the cooking that I am good at. That just the way it is. After I finished cooking, I expect people that eat the food to clean up. I spend almost an hour in the kitchen, cutting, cooking, washing, tasting and the least that you could do is spend 7 minutes washing the plates. Adding to the fact that I spend $20 on food without even asking a penny from you annoys me a lot. That all I asked from you. So right now, I am $20 dollars poorer, less food in the house and pots/dishes lying in the kitchen waiting to be washed. How thoughtful of you.
