You know it will be awkward to walk in class when you are ten minutes late. And then, you make such a commotion that people notice you. If it is just one time event, then maybe I guess it will be okay. But it is totally not acceptable if you are walking in thirty minutes late to class every single lesson. Wow, you just proved a point...that you are the late bird to class. This girl literally walked into class every single lesson thirty minutes late. After a month, it would be just normal to see her come to class, or even show up to class.
On Tuesday, without any conscience, I just walked into a class. Normally, you would just open the door and then ooops, you know you screwed up because the class did not disperse yet. Okay, I have to admit that it was not partially my fault. I thought I was running late, so I quickly ran to class. I opened the door, walked up to my usual sitting chart and then I realized that I made a mistake. My class did not even start yet. I blushed and walked out of the room. They all thought I was weird, maybe an executive speaker (student) was invited to this presentation. Like seriously, come on. Luckily, I knew the professor and he helped me to cover up my actions. Best professor ever...period!! Most awkward moment ever...

End of Fall 2010
Another semester has just gone by just like that. As a senior and going to graduate, there are so many things in your life that you have think/worry about. What are you going to do after you graduate? Masters program, internships, your career, financing your career, and the list goes on. On the bright side, I still have another semester to really sort out what I want to do with my life. Who knows, maybe by then...I will get some of my answers, maybe not all. Hopefully, half of them will be answered.
I think that this semester has been going well for me. I cannot believe that I actually attended all of my Social Dance classes. To think of it, I truly enjoyed that class a lot. I got to learn swing, waltz, the cha-cha. Note to self, there are some weird people out there who are just dying to dance and maybe acts weird just to impress the girls. Thankfully, I am not like that. I also took Business Ethics for my Capstone class. Sometimes, I feel that it is ironic to have a class in Ethics and then you see newspaper articles about business people jeopardizing their careers and future just because they need extra money. Seriously, you already earned $5.5 million a year in bonuses, and that does not include your annual salary to add icing in the cake. "Good judgment right there..on your part. Now, you end up with nothing.." In my opinion, this BLS class is truly different because it helps you to analyze different business perspectives and mindset. Then, you use your judgment, beliefs and values in life to the applicable scenario. Now, this is what business ethics should look like. I have to say that this is class is totally on top of my favorite classes at Miami in the Farmers Business School. Besides that, my Management class is something that should be mentioned because our group was assigned with a client case. I just presented our findings yesterday. Amazingly enough, we pull it all together and contribute our ideas into this project. As a result, our client including our professor was impressed with our work.
And finally, my accounting classes. Since I have my Audit internship, I am able to relate my experience and use the knowledge for future purposes. Because only seniors are allowed to take this course, my professor gave us a prep talk to how to prepare for a future in accounting and the prospects in the industry. He also gave us useful advice to use in our first job. (Note to self: find a mentor who you want to emulate and your first job is not the job that you will be doing for the rest of your life) As for my other Accounting class, let's just say that it was a good class (period).
The next week will be hectic and busy as finals week is just around the corner. I have exams on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. After that, I probably attend Dong's graduation in Millett Hall. During the holidays, I will focus on my GMAT preparation and graduate school application. Did I mention, that I am excited to spend time with Rachel (my cousin) in San Francisco. I need to get out of this cold weather and enjoy some place that is hot. Hooray. I think that I know what I am going to do this spring break too....I am going to apply for the Alternative Spring Break in St. Louis. It will be fun....
Counting down the days till it is Christmas...16 days to be exact!!

First day of Snow
Thanksgiving is over but Christmas is coming soon. On Monday, the sky was a cloudy. It was just plain dull. Maybe it was because Thanksgiving break was over so everyone was sad. Perhaps this is what contributed towards the the cloudy weather. When I woke up the next day, I thought I overslept because the sky was super-duper dark and pale. At around 11am, it started raining till 8pm. Yes, this is not an over-exaggerated fact, but the rain did not now and then, but it rained most of the time. That's Oxford weather for you. Today, it started snowing. How ironic is that. Maybe I should have expected it some how. The weather forecast for this weekend is snow too. Ah, finally it starting to look like Christmas.
*singing: "Let it snow, let it snow"....
On a side note, I have so much stuff to do this week. It's like a marathon race to the finish. Projects, presentations, GMAT preparations, meetings, the list is endless. Two more weeks of school and Fall Semester is over. Somehow, I feel like I do not want my time at Miami to end. Kinda feel a bit sad but oh well, just got to move on with life.
