Monday blues
The weekend is over and it is back to work again. Today, I left the house early and found a really good parking spot. Since KPMG is near my house, it only took me 5 minutes to reach Dataran carpark. I stayed in the car for a few minutes and heard some Hollywood gossip on Hitz.Fm radiostation. I decided that it was time to get out of the car and walked over to KPMG office. This morning, there were so many employees sitting on their desks doing their work. Everybody is walking around, staring at their laptops, printing their work or photocopying/scanning. And then, there are interns like me and Fariz. I am blogging and Fariz is reading some news. Both of us still have 3 hours to go before we can go for lunch. I wonder when will I be allocated to a job. ~sigh~

Now what?
Last week, I met a lot of MMU students who will be interning for KPMG. They were very friendly and helpful bunch of people. Probably all of of us need to pass the E-test in two days and that is the reason why we co-operate and helped each other out. All of us managed to passed the required E-test and we were allocated to our respective departments. As usual, it was back to basics for me. I was excited that I was allocated to a new job but then I realized that this job requires me to stay in the office. Being an VT, staying in the office means that you are helping people out. Actually, I do not mind helping assistants out because that is what I am supposed to do. After all, you need to "walk before you are able to run". I did not grumble or showed my facec but I voluntary helped the assistants who needs help. I even helped the manager to complete part of his job. I stayed in the office for 3 days, Wednesday until Friday and was eager to offer my hand to help anybody who asked for my help.
Since Eng Han, my supervisor was on MC, I took this opportunity to go back to my previous job, EITA company. I don't know why I like going to EITA. Maybe because I know that I can actually learn something, maybe because I can hear old songs on Lite Fm, or perhaps the assistants there that makes the place really funny. I chosen my career path to graduate with an Accounting degree but I know that this job really does not suit my personality. My assistant asked me this question, "After you graduate, do you want to stay in the US or come back to Malaysia to work?" I politely give them an answer, " I seriously don't know!" I hope that I will find something that I am actually passionate about...I want a job that is fulfilling and impacts people life everyday..I wonder what job is that!!
