chinese new year

this is my first time experiencing chinese new year in the united states and what depressing time it is...no more red packets, no more funfair in Taiping, no more prawns and steamed fish, no more pepper soup in gu kong house, meeting with jia yen and cousins and the list goes on. while the people back home is celebrating the most celebrated event in Malaysia(i think), here i am studying for my economics quiz..that adds into the misery and the depressing state i am in.there is not even a celebration at all. while i am writing this blog, i am wondering what my other cousins are doing right now. this year, dad and mum went back extremely early..i wonder why!!is it because they each have leaves or it is because of other things?i wonder...maybe its a good because then eeling can get to be closer with the other cousins and play with the uncles and aunties.that would be so fun!!my mum brought eeling a nice cheongsam which i think will be cute on her!!i am so excited to see the photos..cute eeling...haha...
i will be so busy this weekend...accounting project due on sunday accounting test on monday, statistics test on tuesday...what a "splendid" weekend for me...anyway, just want to wish everybody back home a happy chinese new year...and gong xi fa cai!!
